Skate Sharpening and Repairs at Reno Ice
Sharpening - $12
We offer skate sharpening on our Blackstone machine. Our experienced sharpeners will get your skates to the exact edge you need to perform at your best.
Please note: We charge $15 for a rush order (skates needed the next day that are dropped off after 5pm.)
Rockering - $40
Also called “profiling” or “contouring,” rockering is the process of creating a custom curvature on your blade, and can help with maneuverability or performance. Please come by the front desk to chat with us about getting your skates rockered!
Repairs - Custom
Need a repair on your figure or hockey skate? We may be able to help. Contact mallory@renoice.com to inquire. If we are not able to repair your skate, we may be able to provide a recommendation for where to access the right service.
To get skates sharpened or rockered, please drop them off at the front desk. A staff member will take your name, contact information, preferred edge (see below), and the date you need them by. You can pay when you drop them off or at the time of pick up. Note: We ask that you take your skate guards/soakers off prior to leaving your skates.
